Who measure worth by tasks and drive,
The rose would say, “In every bloom,
There lies a peace that clears the gloom.”
“Your inbox fills, your deadlines call,
But don’t let work consume your all.
For in the petals, soft and red,
Lies beauty more than what’s in your head.”
It would remind you of the sky so wide,
The simple joys you’ve set aside.
“Success,” it’d murmur, “is not the key,
When you neglect the soul to be free.”
“Take time to feel the morning dew,
The sun that gently kisses you.
For in your work, there’s purpose true,
But life, dear friend, still waits for you.”
So if the rose could talk today,
It’d teach you how to work and play,
To balance both, to bloom and grow,
With roots deep down, and a peaceful flow.
